THE EASY WAY OUT IS OK
Those of us who have a high metabolism tend to make coworkers and friends quite jealous.
We eat a lot and do not seem to gain weight accordingly. To burn fat our body activates the thermogenic process when we do something that triggers it.
Exercise is one trigger that activates the thermogenic process.
But our society does not have a lot of time for exercise. The guy who’s car always seems to be parked by the gym or the lady who runs by your house four times a day do not represent the majority of Americans.
For many of us exercise doesn’t go any further than chasing the kids around or climbing in and out of the truck. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator to go one floor up or down seems to be an impossible task.
Our houses and vehicles are heated to our convenience. Our grandmothers only heated one room in the house and it stayed cold everywhere else.
We park our car in the garage and the garage door opens and closes automatically.
There is no need for us to be exposed to cold, and so this also takes the exposure to cold factor away when it comes to how to activate the thermogenic process.
By taking exercise and exposure to cold almost completely away we do not do our bodies a favor.
We do not eat less than our ancestors used to do. At the contrary, we eat out and we eat processed food that is high in fat and sodium.
A healthy diet and triggering the thermogenic process with exercise and exposure to cold are what is missing.
Sure we could tell family and friends that they should follow a healthy diet. But is that not what we and the medical world have tried to do all along?
Face it! In this hectic world trying to put everybody on a healthy diet is not feasible. It is not going to happen. But if we don’t do anything, things are only going to get much worse.
Have you looked around lately? When two people try to pass each other in an isle at the grocery store and it won’t work because both of them are too big, and you see this picture reoccur almost every time you go to a grocery store, there is a problem.
Obesity is becoming an extreme problem because society has blocked out those things that trigger the thermogenic process.
There is a solution to the problem. We can introduce new triggers that will make our metabolic rate go up and we will burn calories. See it as a boost to healthier bodies in the twenty first century.
People in Africa realized all along that the Hoodia Gordonii, a cactus-like plant in the Kalahari Desert, has ‘healing powers’. The product that is made from the leaves of this plant helps us feel full when our body does not need food. That is a step forward on the road of weight loss and the fight against obesity.
The next logical step is to trigger the activation of the thermogenic Process. Fucoxanthin can help us with this. Fucoxanthin is a nutritional activator of the thermogenic process. Put the power of seaweed into action and fire up your metabolic rate. Stop feeling bad about the things we should do but do not have time for. It is ok to fight obesity the easy way.
